There is already ownership by the Ministry and other stakeholder&#8217;s buy in.<\/p>\n<p><u>Niger<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assign staff to the\u00a0PBF unit\u00a0required for its operation<\/li>\n<li>Organize a round table of partners to mobilize funds to ensure PBF<\/li>\n<li>Advocate for the opening of a PBF line in the national budget<\/li>\n<li>Integrate\u00a0private health facilities in PBF<\/li>\n<li>Train and supervise community workers on the PBF indicator &#8220;Household Visit&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Chad<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Organize meetings at national and regional levels on\u00a0the 50th PBF course<\/li>\n<li>Organize a high-level advocacy meeting and training on PBF<\/li>\n<li>Establish a pool of trainers in PBF<\/li>\n<li>Advocate within the MSP for more\u00a0autonomy at health facility level to procure essential drugs\u00a0at accredited\u00a0wholesale organizations outside central medical stores;<\/li>\n<li>Provide a budget line for the PBF investment units at health facility level<\/li>\n<li>Conduct the rationalization of the health facilities in the PBF\u00a0project area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Haiti<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sina-health.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Le-voyage-PBF-sous-supervision-du-chef-de-village-e1446400093320.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-2513\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sina-health.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Le-voyage-PBF-sous-supervision-du-chef-de-village-e1446400093320.jpg\" alt=\"Le voyage PBF sous supervision du chef de village\" width=\"400\" height=\"316\" \/><\/a>Include 3\u00a0indicators on HIV \/ AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis in the\u00a0PBF package;<\/li>\n<li>Brief the contracting team responsible for the implementation of the International Strategy on the PBF course;<\/li>\n<li>Revise the\u00a0indicators;<\/li>\n<li>Propose the insertion of\u00a0the Investment Units.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u>Democratic Republic of Congo<\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>Difficulties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Low budget allocated to the health sector;<\/li>\n<li>Strong centralization of the health system resources;<\/li>\n<li>Poor management of resources: corruption, lack of accountability;<\/li>\n<li>BF is necessary in DRC to address these issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Benin<\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>Strategies to strengthen the health system and the FBR in Benin:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PBF promotes the achievement of the\u00a0Sustainable Development Goals.<\/li>\n<li>Integrate other MOH departments in the consultation about the PBF;<\/li>\n<li>Obtain the government&#8217;s\u00a0commitment to maintain an appropriate level of governance to ensure the success of the PBF, including progress towards\u00a0decentralization;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure, that health facilities have sufficient equipment and personnel;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the innovative initiatives (community PBF, quality assurance, involvement of the private health sector, &#8230;) are not diverted into vertical programs, but retain their cross-cutting nature;<\/li>\n<li>UNICEF, through its mission to the realization of rights of children in accordance with the Convention of Rights of the Child (CRC) is part of this process in Benin not only to strengthen the acquired high impact package\u00a0at community level but also at health facility level\u00a0to the fight against child, maternal,\u00a0and neonatal mortality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 50th\u00a0PBF course was held in Cotonou from October 12 to 23, 2015 with thirty-nine participants from Chad (16) Niger (10x), Haiti (4x) Cameroon (3x), DRC (2), Comoros (2x), Ivory Coast (1x) and Benin (1x).
