There were during 2014 10 PBF courses with in total 284 participants including 25 participants that will attend the 42<sup>nd<\/sup> PBF course starting the 1<sup>st<\/sup> of December 2014 in Mombasa.<\/p>\n<p>We would like to thank all participants for those memorable and stimulating discussions and moments in Mombasa Kenya Bay, Shimba Hills, Bobo Burkina Faso, Brazzaville, Cotonou and Ouida Benin, Kampala, etc. There were 54 participants with distinctions\u00a0(20.8% of the total).<\/p>\n<p>New PBF courses in 2015 are planned for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>January 20-31, 2015 in Freetown for participants from Sierra Leone with Cordaid,<\/li>\n<li>Early March 2015 in Douala for the Cameroun government and the World Bank<\/li>\n<li>March 23<sup>\u00a0<\/sup>\u2013 April 4 in Cotonou Benin.<\/li>\n<li>Another English spoken course is planned for April \u2013 most likely in Mombasa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"attachment_1674\" style=\"width: 360px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sina-health.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/1.-Ceremonie-dOuverture-e1395498965547.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1674\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-1674 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sina-health.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/1.-Ceremonie-dOuverture-e1395498965547.jpg\" alt=\"1. Ceremonie d'Ouverture\" width=\"350\" height=\"262\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1674\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">PBF course in Bobo &#8211; Burkina Faso<\/p><\/div>\n<p>One can also download the reports of the 40th PBF\u00a0course in Cotonou (<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sina-health.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/RapCoursPBFCotonouV241014.pdf\">Rapport Cours PBF Cotonou V241014<\/a><\/span>)\u00a0and the 41st PBF course in Douala (<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sina-health.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/RapCoursPBFDoualaV261114.pdf\">Rapport du cours PBF Douala V261114<\/a><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p>These Cotonou and Douala reports contain fascinating information about PBF in Benin (doing well with scaling up and making the design more PBF pure) and Mali (starting up an improved pilot) as well as about Education in CAR (with good results) and the health program in Cameroon (scaling up from 4 to 7 regions) and the health program in the Central African Republic (successful implementation of PBF during the crisis).<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1762\" style=\"width: 410px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sina-health.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/1000th-SINA-Health-participant-e1397471772312.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1762\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-1762 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sina-health.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/1000th-SINA-Health-participant-e1397471772312.jpg\" alt=\"1000th SINA Health participant\" width=\"400\" height=\"313\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1762\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The 1000th SINA Health course participant\u00a0Nnenna IHEBUZOR<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Douala report also contains a protocol on which role PBF can play in Ebola prevention as well as how to strengthen the health systems during emergencies such as wars and natural disasters.
