Description:

An FBP program is proposed for 4 years and the setting up of the regional teams is started in 2018 and the first contracts with the health facilities started in early 2019 in two regions.

However, there are still problems compromising the success of the PBF programme :

• The involvement of the Regional Council as a contracting entity instead of a Regional Verification Team;
• Lack of autonomy of management of health facilities;
• Centralization of supply;
• Single treasury account from January 1st, 2019.
